What to do if the iPhone does not charge?

Software problem - hard reset

The reason for not charging your iPhone may be that the software "crash" in the background.
Before taking any action, perform a hard reset on your iPhone. Here's how:

1. Quickly press and release the volume up button.
2. Quickly press and release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the power button until the Apple logo appears, then release.

1. Spray the electrical contact cleaner on the tip of the interdental brush.
2. Gently insert the interdental brush into the charging port.
3. Spray the cleaner on the cable connector.
4. Insert the cleaned cable connector into the lightning port and gently rotate to clean it.
5. Do not spray the electrical contact cleaner directly into the lightning port, as this may damage the surrounding iPhone components.
6. Be sure to clean all contacts on the device as well as on the lightning cable.

• Soak the tip of the interdental brush in alcohol and clean the inside of the charging port with it
• Place a piece of cleaning cloth on the screen or surgical gauze over the charging port and push it in with the cable connector. A cloth or gauze will catch dirt and dust inside

• Damaged battery or flex cable
• Damaged charging port
• Damage to the motherboard
