Huawei P10 Lite Battery Replacement

• Insert the tip of an opening pick between the back cover and the mid frame and slide it around the phone, to cut the adhesive. If the adhesive is hard to cut, use a hairdryer to heat it up for approximately 60 seconds and try again. 
• After you cut the adhesive, twist the opening pick to separate the rear cover from the phone - by flipping the rear cover over to the right side of the phone. By this you carefully separate it from the rest of the phone. 
   

• remove the Philips #00 screws marked in red on the photos. 

• Use a pair of tweezers to remove the mainboard shield.
• Use the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the fingerprint sensor flex cable. (When reassembling, do not forget to apply new adhesive where it is necessary.)

• remove the metal shield which covers the battery flex cable. 
• unplug flex cable
   

 Carefully heat up the adhesive holding the battery insert the spudger in between the battery and the mid frame to separate them. Be careful, not to puncture or crease the battery. 
 Once the battery under the rare cover softens, use the opening pick or a spudger, lever the battery out of the phone, to loosen it. Advance carefully, as there are flex cables running under the battery, which you do not want to damage with your tools. 

• If you managed to soften the adhesive under the battery, remove it from the smartphone and replace it with a new Huawei P10 Lite battery
• If needed use glue to adhere the battery.

 When re-assembling your phone, follow these steps in reverse order. Do not forget to apply adhesive under the parts, where needed.
